"The fire on the lake is still on as at 7.25 pm at two places. Army personnel are still alert to prevent its spread into army and adjoining civil area," it added.

While most news outlets said there is an army firing range in the vicinity and it is the lake which is on fire due to toxic wastes, news18 said it has reached the perimeter and has been put out.
