NEW DELHI: India and Australia sealed the long-awaited nuclear energy deal on Friday even as Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said he wanted first-rank relations with India.

Abbott met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and finalized the deal to allow the export of uranium to India.
Abbott said India and Australia were bound by "strongly convergent" trade and strategic interests on the last day of his visit, which culminated with the deal to supply uranium to the energy-hungry country.

Australia has largest known Uranium reserves in the world and given that Australia had so many reservations about giving India such a deal, this is nothing short of miracle. Kudos to the negotiating teams and MEA.

& now with India having agreements with France, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Canada and Australia, for supply of Uranium, it amounts to major step in securing our energy needs.

I m die hard fan of Priyanka chopra, so movie dekhna to banta hai. and movie was awsome.

Australia has 40% of worlds Uranium..so i think their uranium should be cheaper. Good for India
