There is another option:

Build C130js in India.

The Americans are proving themselves to be reliable partners. Imagine a c130 line in Inida. It could even lead to export orders if handled correctly.

There isn't really an alternative in the AN-32 segment- perhaps the C-27J is the closest comparison- the MTA isn't even in the AN-32's segment.

The best case alternative is the C-130XJ now, see the disscussion:

KC-390 is a good alternative if not favoring a propeller aircraft like the C-130.
