India and China — Different, and yet similar

that is the reason why our life expectancy is 10 years higher than yours.
that is the reason why our women are have more important roles at home or at work.
that is the reason why our capital looks like a first world city while new delhi looks like a 4th world dump site.

And all of that cannot buy you class. Take a breather man :coffee:

.
Yes, but many American learn Spanish; it's biggest language, especially in the Southwestern part, after English.

They don't know any Mandarin, but you don't know any Espanol.

I didn't mean american people, I mean indians. And actually I do know a couple of words of spanish and you can guess the meaning of words.

Please pay attention that India happened to be the 3rd "Most Power Country" on earth.:yahoo:

I have to disagree with you on this one, all the points peaceful mentioned will lead to not only"class"= but "high class" plus cars, pride, power etc. Come back to "Earth" please.:partay:

Clearly you did not understand what I was trying to say. As in "class" I meant dignity, self respect and mannerisms.

Oh my bad, you were talking about some moral "Class" stuffs:hang2:
But i hate to tell you all those so-called "dignity, self respect and mannerisms etc will means nothing without the support of $$$$$, otherwise thats will only serve as excuses for losers to feel better morally though. :D :pop:

I agree it may be hard to find people to accept moral values without the help of "$", however I've seen more poorer people in a much better psychological state than those who have of loads of cash and find no meaning to life.

Do you know hindi, the official language of India other than english...

or leave hindi... do you know any of the other 22 indian languages..

We have learnt english not to adopt it but to communicate people like you:azn: :)

You know what, People of China can read English, even the english spoken and written by indian people, but you guys know nothing, nothing about Chinese language.

well bro if you have any doubts about Indians prowess in languages .....you can merely check the number of languages , dialects and variants being spoken in India.....there are over 300 million Indians who are trilingual and as many as 700 million who are bilingual ( this was stated in a survey conducted by a western newpaper)....

because the working populace in India have to often move from one state to another ( every state here is more divided than anywhere in the world.....different language , culture , religion , traditions .....hell even the festivals and festival related holidays differ)....and they are required to pick up at times more than 3 languages.....

as for almost every Indian in general ....we are trained to communicate in 3 languages since childhood....English as an official language .....Hindi reinforced at all primary & secondary schools through a conscious effort of national Integration and also drilled by mass media sources like news reports , Bollywood flicks etc.....and our respective mother tongues eg. Bengali,Assamese,Oriya,Punjabi,Bhojpuri,Kashmiri,Marathi,Kannada,Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam,Urdu etc......

and we often manage to pick up more than one from the latter list depending on our residing state.......
