I would burn my Saudi passport the day they offer me citizenship.

If i set my patriotism aside, i would only settle for a US or a German citizenship to replace my Indian one. Giving up Indian citizenship for an Emarati one seems like a very poor trade-off imo.

Why do you think like that? I feel in all the major war like situation with India GCC and Arab countries always provide active or passive support to Paksitan...India never get any kind of support from any Arab countries with respect to Pakistan except Iran in some specific occasions...

I may be wrong..But this is what my impression goes by...

India doesn't need anybody's support when it comes to war with Pakistan. War is never going to happen anyways.
But India should look to maintain cordial relations with all countries. This is a globalized world and economy is more important than war.
I'm glad Indian government has managed to forge good ties with Gulf countries.

Friendship cant really be determined upon the defence relations..
I personally fee that our trade and connections with UAE are way beyond when compared to France and Israel atleast..

Even Lakshmi Mittal is still keeping his Indian citizenship.

Guess he wants to keep his Citizenship,since he is a proud indian and also he has got lots of money..but when you look at the lower class and middle class of our country people getting settled there dont think they d have any problem in accepting their citizenship
