Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry has said that Afghanistan-India collusion is harmful for the restless region and added that Pakistan is ready for establishment of peace in Afghanistan because this will also bring peace in the region.
While talking to the national TV, he said the Afghanistan-India connivance might be harmful for the two countries and establishment of peace in the region would become difficult due to their negative propaganda.
The foreign secretary said that Pakistan abided by its promise to continue moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris and would never abandon this pledge.
He said the Pak-US relations were very important for us and for our foreign policies. He admitted that there were ups and downs in these relations. He said that these relations were not one-sided, rather both took benefits from these relations. He said that drone attacks were stopped during the present government's tenure. He said the government told the US that drone attacks were a violation of territorial security and independence. He said that there was no demand of doing more; rather the same demand was from our side as we had got a number successes in the war on terror.
Aizaz Chaudhry said that they had made it clear that whatever India and Afghanistan were doing, it was not helping their countries. He said that Pakistan was asking India and Afghanistan to shun hostility towards Pakistan and should make compromise by keeping in view the changing circumstances.
While rejecting the allegation of the US and Afghanistan that the members of Haqqani Network were using the Pakistani soil for terrorism in Afghanistan, the foreign secretary said that most of the members of Haqqani Network were living in Afghanistan and some were in Pakistan, but our leadership categorically told them (India and the US) that the land of Pakistan would not be used by anyone or group for terrorism in any shape. He said that his government had given a clear message to the Taliban and Haqqanis that they should not become part of any violence or terrorism in Afghanistan, otherwise they would not be welcomed in Pakistan.
Aizaz Chaudhry said that basically there was no military solution to peace in Afghanistan and the Afghan government should hold talks with the Taliban and Haqqanis in reconciliatory manner for establishing peace there. He said it was totally unfair to hold Pakistan responsible for all the problems in Afghanistan. He said that Pakistan government had told the Afghan government that it would be ready to play its role politically in establishing peace in Afghanistan. He said that Afghanistan should stop playing the Indian card against Pakistan as it was tantamount to negative politics.

Where was naserrudin haqqani killed?

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-24917809

Islamabad. Living in a big house with family. Making many foreign trips.

Was he of interest? Yes UN proscribed.

https://www.un.org/sc/suborg/en/sanctions/1988/materials/summaries/individual/nasiruddin-haqqani

There are countless such examples where pakistan did not even offer their usually fake excuses. The latest being afghan taliban chief Mullah Mansoor who was also killed in Pakistan by Americans.

Pakistanis should worry about their own terrorism addiction before worrying about the "Axis of Victims".

Let's keep our fingers crossed because recent changes may reduce space for India in Afghanistan and help break their influence for regional peace.

Recall the two key developments over the past 15 years which enabled India:
1. US-India quid pro quo. President G. W. Bush enlisted India, ostensibly to contain China. In exchange, the administration would look the other way on India's "handling" of Kashmir and waiver at the NSG. India also got access to Afghanistan and reopened their consulates near the Pakistan border to poke at Pakistan.

2. In addition, India used its presence in Iran to cause trouble in Baluchistan. (Issue of India causing problem from Iran was brought up by no other than Christine Fair: India recruited Baloch terrorists and trained them in Iran before sending them back into Pakistan.)

Now, the likely impact of recent developments:
For the first point, the Obama administration lost an opportunity to bring peace to Afghanistan by allowing India a free hand. This only resulted in a proxy war between India and Afghanistan and worsened the situation. With new administration, the US policy makers may not be willing to let India seal their fate and are free to rethink a better approach. (Just like Iraq, the US won't completely leave Afghanistan even with some kind of peace deal.) India was counting on a Hillary win. But, the US would be right to step in themselves as India failed to take full control because they were limited by their obsession of causing trouble for Pakistan.

On the second point, Iran may not be as willing to allow India to cause a rift with Pakistan now that UNGA has dropped the nuclear related sanctions; Iran is not beholden to just couple of countries before the nuclear deal. Iran is looking to widen the net and help to stabilize their relationships with other countries to develop as fast as possible. Don't forget, India also over-promised in development of the Chabahar Port and failed to buy gas via the under sea gas pipeline. But, China has stepped in commitment and development of Iranian oil and gas fields.

For Afghanistan's sake, the first case is the most important and it will depend upon Trump's administration. Will they be serious about not continuing to bring chaos to Afghanistan? If US doesn't act, regional players (Russia, Iran and China) may not sit by and see the chaos continue in Afghanistan for long. We are seeing Russia and China speaking out publicly against India's role and Iran has indirectly indicated closer relationships by opening up to joining CPEC.

You can be sure Ghani is having these conversations with the US administration in private if he wants to improve the condition of his country-men.

Pakistan should continue on a steady course and offer to work for peace and regional integration. India is the one becoming isolated due to its obsessions and shortsightedness.

(Sorry, I have five links with supporting material, but too new to be allowed to include them).

Adding links by quoting myself:
