India accused of nurturing NK nuclear scientists

There have been countless allegations against Pakistan so India has a stronger chance of gaining entry into the NSG. Lying and deceiving is never a good way to achieve your objective but I'm sure our neighbours will continue doing what they do best and continue to bring shame upon themselves.

Well we can relish this troll fest for now but we know and they know that right now India is the new darling..
Sab chalta hai,Sab bikta hai.

....
Had it been Pakistan, you would have had a press release from the US state deptt within a week.

"We are concerened at this latest revelation about blah blah blah.."

Oh God what a secret, this will surely dash Indian chance . Entire pakistan diplomatic corps must be partying now :P.

Dont expect any Pakistani to pay heed to this.

I mean their current leader (Kim Jong Un) was educated extensively in Switzerland under a similar program. Did he pick up his loose morals and continued oppresive qualities from the Swiss School? How you use basic open -source knowledge you acquire is dependent on the end-user not the provider. India definitely did not give specific technical instruction that would violate any sanctions...but we will let the probe prove that for the salivating people on this thread.

They have been itching to get back at India ever since TIME posted that "Merchant of menace" cover of AQ Khan and the newsweek story that ran about the C-130 Centrifuge/Missile bartering that occured.

Please try to understand from their perspective of butthurt ;)

Just look at how many of them have so far totally shunned away from addressing the last couple lines of the article:

"Experts believe India, which has condemned North Korea over its claimed nuclear bomb test in early January, may have helped North Korea’s military program but it does not mean India was complicit.

“The training may very well have helped North Korea's military programs,” Bruce E. Bechtol Jr, president of the International Council on Korean Studies, said in an email to Al Jazeera. “The result of the probe does not necessarily make India complicit.”

Indians are expert liars and masters of treachery and involved in hoodwinking the world. On one hand they accuse Pakistan of nuclear proliferation and pose as innocent holy cows of nuclear counties but behind the scenes fully cooperating with the North Korea and probably Iran (why would Iran have such great relationship with these Hindus who have nothing common with the extremist Iranian Mullahs) providing them technical know how and possibly rocket designs and materials too. It becomes more evident when we look at North Korea's recent launces of space rockets and long range missiles, thus irresponsibly spreading nuclear and missile tech to UN sanctioned rouge states, making money and all the time blaming Pakistan and ironically expecting to become members of NSG at the same time. It's time UN should impose sanctions on Indian space and nuclear agencies/institutions.

India is nurturing North Korean scientists despite United Nations sanctions, according to Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based news network.

Beginning with Hong Yong-il, the first-secretary to India, more than 30 scientists have been sent to the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (CSSTEAP), set up by the U.N. in 1995.

Two North Korean students are now studying at the center. One is affiliated with North Korea’s National Aerospace Development Administration, which has been sanctioned by the U.N. on the grounds it is a key player in North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile development.

The U.N. prohibits member countries from providing technical training to North Korea under a nuclear sanction in 2006.

The sanction includes bans on training, advice, services or assistance related to nuclear, ballistic missiles or other weapons of mass destruction.

India has rejected the allegations, stating the topics at the centre are general, easily obtainable and would not provide any expertise in specific areas.

But North Korean students who have graduated from the institute have gone on to hold major positions in Pyongyang.

Hong became head of a research group on remote-sensing technology at the State Commission for Science and Technology.

Paek Chang-ho, who studied satellite communications at the institute, became head of an agency involved with North Korea's first satellite launch in 2012.

Experts believe India, which has condemned North Korea over its claimed nuclear bomb test in early January, may have helped North Korea’s military program but it does not mean India was complicit.

“The training may very well have helped North Korea's military programs,” Bruce E. Bechtol Jr, president of the International Council on Korean Studies, said in an email to Al Jazeera. “The result of the probe does not necessarily make India complicit.”

India is due to submit a report to a U.N. advisory committee on the issue.

So a UN managed institution is involved but the blame falls on India and the news piece isn't coherent with the news title?
Looks like the budget allocated wasn't enough to hire professional people.

Maybe because we give science and development greater preference than religion. And few don't even acknowledged both as different entity. Also it helps if you don't have a very narrow mindset.

India often get away with lot of its policies, thanks to her economic clout....India plays its game extremely well. They are not innocent at all

And they will get away again its not a much problem for them.
Thanks to their think tanks and lobbies they beat us in foreign policy every time.
