They swim in flood as well. Gates are closed in rainy season. Still they hang a roof on wall and get down and go to river to swim. I too went there in flood to swim. I was very scarred but I show them swimming and so I also went there and jump into the river which was overflowing from cause way and bathe for Hours. It was a fantastic experience. I went there repeatedly and enjoyed swimming in flood like this. You can see cause way overflowing.

That is foolhardy!!!

The drone camera — provided to the Department of Forests by two volunteers from Bengaluru, Sunil and Madhu, who have been trained as eco-volunteers — flew repeatedly along the Anechowkur–Kalahalla border. A patch of 15 sq. km of Nagarahole forest was scanned from air, while Dasara elephant Abhimanyu, accompanied by elephants Drona and Krishna, backed up the efforts by combing the land, but the tiger remained elusive.

the drone was used for nearly four hours and flew for nearly 20 minutes at a stretch before being brought down for recharging.

“It is estimated that by the year 2025, all automobiles would be of hybrid design and we have thought of designing the hybrid car with a futuristic design. The car is powered by 208cc internal combustion engine. After switching over to electric mode, the car is run by 48V battery. A 12V battery is used as an auxiliary circuit for accessories,’’ said M. Harshvardhan, a student of third year Mechanical Engineering Department.

SRIKAKULAM: As long as one has interest, age is no barrier for experiment and research. Iqbal Ahmed, 75, of Nagpur proved it again with his dedication in creation of miniature model engines. Although he studied only up to 9th class, he makes masterpieces in model engineering. Mr.Iqbal’s hand-crafted miniature engineering working model exhibition in GMR Institute of Technology has drawn the attention of everyone. The exhibition is part of the ongoing STEPCONE, technical event in the college.
 
Historian and writer Mesrovb Jacob Seth, who wrote History of the Armenians in India from the Earliest Times to Present, states that in 1895 he had copied 19 Armenian inscriptions which were still decipherable dating from 1640 to 1724 AD in an old deserted cemetery in Hyderabad.
