There is a sizable Goan community in Karachi also. The people of the Goan community are well educated and civilized. However, they like to follow the Western culture. Their men and women like to dress up in the European style. They speak in English and practice the culture of Europeans.

You should try angling over Nameri river near Assam-Arunachal border. The fishes here are big !

You can visit Neelum Valley Kiran and see the houses across the boarder. The LOC at that place is the River Neelum.

On the road down the mountain from Ooty to Mysore you see such herds of friendly elephants loitering at leisure. A little below another spectacle. Swarms of deer roaming free in the sprawling open compound of the Forest Deptt. You can actually see women in the quarters / kitchen doing their chore not minding the deer population.
