What do u expect in a red light district of Lahore

i suspected it because of the architecture and stuff, seems like most of the lahoris couldnt recognise the heera mandi because they never went there

You are worried about cars, I'm worried about why are there so many men there. There aren't any women visible there, one thing I dislike about the Pakistani public scene and this conservative practice. You always see more men out in public then women, that is a bit irritating. I know women are to be modest and go with family or their spouse, but this really should change.

People are going to say oh this just opened so women aren't there, blah blah that's really not the answer. Of course there are other parts of the city that women do frequent more like the bazaar.

It seems like you have not been to Pakistan for a long time. I would love to take you there with me. You'd be surprised how the girlies are bolder than the men these days.

Well every Lahori knows that Fort Road is hira mandi. What pisses me off is that Gowalmandi was destroyed by Shahbaz coz he was against the Nazim of that area.

what are the prices?
food is almost the same price in pakistan as it is on UK..
Despite the fact that 90% of food in UK is imported while Pakistan is agricultural country...and the currency difference.

Pizza costs 10 pounds here and 1500Rs in Pakistan....thats same price..isnt it

Most of it is no longer there..
The high class stuff which had dancing and all of that(and demanded high rates as well) has moved to the posh areas such as DHA.
What is left are those women for the taxi drivers and other folks.. which are also heavily taxed and to an extent managed by the police.

And NO.. I have no personal exp of this.. just well connected to grapevines :cheesy:

It is powered by solar energy, and is a private initiative, good step.

It is also supposed to be opened in other areas, so Hira Mandi thing might not be an issue when the other get opened.
