A dance performance at the launch of a new $2 billion naval ship in Sydney has been been widely criticised as inappropriate by viewers. A group of female dancers dressed in short shorts and crop tops were filmed ‘twerking’ at the event which hosted a crowd of Senior Navy officials and Federal MPs. Organisers of the event have hit back at criticism and said the dancers were hired in a bid to support the local community.

They have been working closely with IN recently? Soon they'll move from dancer girls twerking to wife swapping

I see the Navy is trying to change their image and distance themselves from their current stereotype

Let's just say it looks very odd, just like Steve Smith's batting technique.

It's odd. you can clearly see the face of general at the end of clip. never seen such things before.

I liked the bare faced looks on the audience.
