Akmal Bhai, there was no denying that W Pakistanis used overwhelming force against us, the Bengalis in the first few weeks but who drew the first blood to drum the situation up to that magnitude bagged an important question IMO. The following lines are from Brigadier Z Alam's narration in that regard,
I.E. In 'The way it was', he described some case by case incidents and I believed him, especially on the basis of RAWamys not showing any efforts on putting W Pakistanis on trial. What you get to say on it, please?
@ It is difficult to coment on the writings of Brig Z A Khan ? I also have learnt many things from his writing. Whatever he wrote seems true within his vicinity.
@ It is a fact that what ever is true one day it will come out and Brig Z A Khan is like that character. See !!! his writing how nice and beautiful it is --------and also seems very authentic.
@ He wrote not only the military events but also political events which no politicians of Bangladesh ever realize its implications. He wrote that once he was made as acting Brigade Commander of Chittagong Area, he used to call all local Bengali politicians. One day, Fuzlul Kader Chow of Convention Muslim Leaque came and met with him. During discussion Fuka Chow said "Had Yahya Khan did not freezed the central political fund of Convention Muslim Leaque then the politician situation could had been different ! Moreso, Yahya and his intelligence organisation did not helped the Muslims Leaque groups rather it harmed them".Now, the question arises why Yahya freezed the central fund of Convention Muslim Leaque ?? How come a national political party which ruled the united Pakistan for almost 10 years participated in such kind of general election ? Was the election of 1970 was not free and fair ?
