180 - 45KMPL for if he his a good rider... know when how to shift... else 42+
apahe 180- 25 30KMPL
apche 160- 32-37 KMPL
pulsar 150-50+KMPL
pulsar 135 55 KMPL
pulsar 200ns 40KMPL
pulsar 220 -35-38KMPL
had a ride on every bike in this list.. ill say 150 or 180 is best for u... i these two 150.. if he is a new heavy bike rider... mind u young blood also crash frequently.... i use to have 150 then 180 now 200NS

I own a apache rtr 180 for 4 years now and it is a well built bike but faces some problems like the rear tyre likes to throw away in a corner for eg(after 15000kms or so). mileage is around 30kmpl. engine is a gem and will survive for years unlike pulsar's engine which goes for a sleep after hitting 10k-15K.
my recommendation: buy pulsar. young kids buy it as a toy and throws away at used market after their obsession ends. if not Karizma from Hero is a good contender. both hero and tvs have better build quality.
