No public utilities are denied to Indian citizens based on their religion.

Personal properties can very well be denied to citizens based on religion, caste, skin color, nationality, ethnicity, status or cultural difference. This has nothing to do with 'Civic Liberties'.

Civic liberties does not mean you can take away my right to be an @$$hole and gift that right to someone else.

I as a private home individual have complete right to give my house on rent to anyone I want AND also refuse it to anyone I want. If I want to give it to a Hindu and not a Muslim, that is my right. No law can take away that right. Its as simple as that.

Right to Rented house is not a fundamental right. Only Fundamental Rights are overarching enough to supersede other laws.

Discrimination has become a dirty word. Yet it simply means to separate, to distinguish, and didn't originally have any negative connotations at all.

You can't apply the law to one section of the community, and not another: That's discrimination! If the law is applied to all communities then its NOT discrimination.

If Muslims did not have right to refuse Hindus in their house and if only Hindu's had that right, it would be discrimination.

I do not want the honor of being labeled 'Advanced' by you or your kind. I am happy you are away from India...may you live forever in 'Advanced countries'.....and we certainly don't need 'restructuring of our mindset' to suite your convenience. You can do that in your 'advanced country'.

BTW....what is your opinion on 'Advanced countries' discriminatory practices of asking for 'NO PETS' or 'NO KIDS' for rented properties ?
