Bengali identity and Intellectuality.

When English came, they came with there education. Radical Hindu and Muslims thought it as attack on there culture. As we all know Muslims are most adament about there religion they didn't accepted British education system..

Where Muslims were distancing them from British education system, Hindus (esp Bengali, Punjabi and South Indian Hinuds) started reading in Bristish Education system. In next 100 years, Muslims became uneducated (under-educated) while Hindus gained uper hand.

this is why Bengali Muslims are not intellectual, Since Muslims were majority in Bihar, UP these 2 states became backward (And still is). This is why Muslim never participated in Indian independence movement. (All revolutionary were hindu/Sikh except one).

Muslims only care about there religion and nothing else (eg: In pakistan there was a poll in which Majority of Muslims chose religion over state). As british education system was affecting there religious belief, they didn't accept it.


And Muslim education system is outdated. Madrsa teach Algebra at graduation level, imagine what standard Muslim educatiuon system has...

If you go through the debates airing in the major news channels you would understand that no body lives in the past glory. Each and every political moves of the ruling TMC and the former lefts gets harsh criticism by the apolitical citizens and the anger is growing day by day.The communists tried to employ china model and forgot that a more leftist is waiting to bang them with their own hammer. The people of bengal are being the worst sufferer of all these blind policies and going outside for better education,healthcare and jobs for the last 10/15 years.
