Log a legal issue in where? In India? That is a joke, because 1) Indian judicial system is a joke; 2) for those small businessmen to endure such an expenses in India courts is a joke.

The following are the true stories:

1) Zhejiang Garment Import/Export company, a state owned company, delivered millions dollar worthy of goods to an Indian company and received NO payment.

No payment from the Indian company is a loss, but they assessed that to fight a legal battle in a corruption ridden democratic India will ensure another hug piece of loss, perhaps more than the millions lost. So they just let it go while cursing the Indians to at least 18 generations of ancestors.

2) My remote cousin runs a successful garments business. He now has multimillion in net incomes every year, profiting from N America and Europe Market. Some years ago, he tried to break into Indian market. He established some relationship with Indian companies. He asked one Indian company for some garment sample. The Indian company asked for deposit for the sample. My cousin sent the lady in charge several thousand dollars, and received nothing! Not even a bag of air. My cousin is supper rich, he doesn’t care about the puny thousands, but he definitely senses the danger in doing business in India, and hence waves goodbye to the idea of doing business in India for next 10-20 years.

Guys, I am not saying all the Indians doing business like that, but, indeed as a Chinese proverb says: a drop of rat’s poo can spoil a whole wok of porridge. There are some Indians acting like rat’s poo that poison the whole business atmosphere of Sino-India trade.

What does rat faeces look like? - Yahoo!7 Answers

It is a much larger than a grain of rice, mice feces are about the size of grain of rice - and if it is shinny then it must be fresh... Keep all food products out of reach, counter tops wiped off and put on the floor some rat glue-traps. They are nocturnal (rats) so you can put the traps up in the morning. They are really nuisances and if there is one - there are more than likely much more. Do disinfect the babies chair prior to your babies meals. Probably many on the answers on yahoo will not like the idea of glue-traps, however they work!!! Just try to catch one to verify that it is a rat, then make a personal decision on how to go about exterminating them from there..Good Luck.

This should be a warning to the Chinese traders or for that matter any global trader doing business with these type of thives. They probably throw a few thousands to the corrupt diplomat to plead to get'em free. Once free you won't see these thives again.

Indian diplomat secretly tried to take away two Indians:report

BEIJING: A Chinese state-run daily today alleged that the Indian diplomat, who had collapsed in a court last Saturday, had tried to "secretly" take away two detained Indian nationals under the "pretence of going to the toilet".

Reports that Indian diplomat, S Balachandran from Consulate in Shanghai fainted after being denied food and medicines and manhandled were "wrong", a report in the Global Times website said.

"The reports distorted the facts, and no injuries actually happened", it quoted an official with the local Yiwu government as saying.

The two Indians Shaymsunder Agrawal and Deepak Raheja refused to pay more than 10 million yuan (USD 1.59 million) for goods they had received, the official said.

They were kidnapped on December 15 by Chinese traders at Yiwu.

"During the interval at the hearing, the diplomat planned to take away the two Indians secretly under the pretence of going to the toilet.

"But they were stopped by suppliers at the court's exit," the report said.

When the officials arrived, they found the diplomat sitting on the ground and claiming that he had been beaten.

But physical checks afterwards showed no signs of a beating, the Times report said quoting sources.

Yesterday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Hong Lei had refuted reports that the diplomat was denied access to food and water in the court.
Let's face it. indians are a dishonest people. It's a deep part of their history and culture.

Their diplomat is a criminal too for trying to break them out from detention. The diplomat should be executed, no matter whether the other indians were guilty or not.

Building trust by intial cash business, then ordering large amount of goods on credit only to dissappear mysteriously is a common tactic by Indian traders..and not only the Chinese but also American, German and British companies are suffering from it. However in Saudi, since most of the business is done on the "kafeel" (sponser) name..the Indian is free to escape while some poor Saudi is left with bad repo and a criminal case against him. What I have learned is never to trust Indian company with a penny of advance payment.. receive the goods, inspect each and every piece of it for quality since again dishonestly is part of culture and they will easily mix two different qualities of goods, and if you confront them they with either act all apologetic about it and blame it on some non existent employee or totally reject the fact and make counter accusations of dishonestly toward you.
