The Indians I know here in Aus are great and having South Asians as group mates back in my uni days was usually successful (the exception was one Indian dude but he was from Fiji). Do Indians become hard working once they cross the border into Australia, why are they so lazy in India?

it depends on culture of the organization they work for. Usually multinational (western) companies provide excellent benefit and working culture, and lot of people enjoy working there. They also know how to motivate emploees, provide leadership and get high productivity.
Govt organizations are exact opposite.

There are regional variations in India, people of some region are more hard working than others, dont want to mention them here lolz..

Neither is Prof. CNR Rao - such harsh words from an eminent scientist can still be endured but a scientist leaving his homeland just to protest against a move taken by his politicians can never be tje same case....

BTW is it really legit to classify a scientist as a "military"one and yes, you might have got that right - was "kicked" out?

Clearly he was a poor candidate for Bharat Ratna. He is barking like a dog when he has retired from active duty.

CNR Rao himself was accused for plagiarizing research materials from others and his own students. And when this was exposed, he blamed his phd students for the mistake (while attempting to pass of the students work as his own). He did not even have the integrity to take ownership of his mistake. As a guide, it was his responsibility to ensure the authenticity of his and his students work.

He is very right. The Budget allotted to R & D is nothing against the budget allotted for so callled Welfare (Loot) schemes. Inspite of that what scientists have achieved is phenomenal.

I think you have comprehension problem in English.

What I say is simply that Pakistani does not give him a sh$t when he left Pakistan in protest but after he won Nobel prize in Physics then they start crying about him. Its not matter, where he did their research.
