So you are saying US operated on that shoreas without knowledge of Pakistan .?
I dont think so.There might be some knid of agreement .
Let's put it this way: if the US didn't inform Pakistan, how would they know.

They would know,if Indian Navy were capable to detect nuclear propulsion .I am sure Pakistan can also do that considering the service of better Pak subs at that time

There is no Lol about it.

A thread is in hereabout the revealation of sailor

This is actually an argument for why it is probably not a US sub.

Leave it to an Indian on PDF to bring anything that they can to discredit Pakistan. They would sacrifice their own family just to get that little self fellatio they get from doing this.

So you are saying that was not a US sub?
Then who would be that ?UK?

" While it is known that the Arabian Sea often saw nuclear submarines from naval teams of the US, Britain, France and Russia, the origin of the said nuclear submarine which was confirmed to be nuclear-powered based on its 'sonar acoustic signature' could never be ascertained."

The Project 633 class (known in the West by its NATO reporting name as the Romeo class) is a class of Soviet diesel-electric submarine, built in the 1950s. Preceded by: Whiskey class submarine. Succeeded by: Foxtrot class submarine

The Foxtrot class was comparable in performance and armament to most contemporary designs. However, its three screws made it noisier than most Western designs. Moreover, the Foxtrot class was one of the last designs introduced before the adoption of the teardrop hull, which offered much better underwater performance. The first Foxtrot keel was laid down in 1957 and commissioned in 1958 and the last was completed in 1983.The Foxtrot class was completely obsolete by the time the last submarine was launched. Preceded by: Zulu-class submarine Succeeded by: Tango-class submarine

Draw a line from Romeo to the first Kilo. Somewhere on that its the Foxtrot in terms of noise, probably closer to Romeo than to Kilo. Compare to Daphne class. Compare to US boats 637 and 688.

Discredit ??Never
There is a reason .

Truth Behind Sinking Of INS Khukri -1971

This is what I am talking about .
The reason is the same, just a need to discredit because of hatred and not logic. Making up fake stories to somehow come up with excuses on how a nation 5 times in size, ten times in population and with a military ratio of a pitiful 4 times lower than India could still manage to cause damage.

Its NOT TEN times in Population but Ten times in Economy Size

And the Current Military Ratio is that India is ATLEAST SIX times Bigger

Exactly. People with even the slightest self respect would not even worry about such a threat... let alone spend their entire lifetimes trying to discredit something they know at the end they will beat. Shows insecurity.

Lol .This is not about damage or hatred.
If you have solid proof to dissect that so called fake story then I would agree with you.
It has excerpts of witness and victims. Now they know very well about their experiences than any outsiders including you and me.
Perhaps PNS Hangor did that or these mystery sub mightdid that .Who knows
But the presence of Royal Navy and USN in this region was a fact .

Sorry Dont agree with you

Its Neither a question of Self respect Nor insecurity

Its a matter of Enimity ; I found this quote on the Internet
it is quite apt for India - Pakistan

“People are linked together by enmity than by love.”

Had it attacked, the Soviets would have joined the fight inadvertently.

No they wouldn't.

USA never had any intention of joining the fight, as much as they made verbal statements, nothing much really happened (remember they were all tied up in Vietnam)..... I am actually surprised at this 'misinformation' that most Indians seem to harbor, that USA supported Pakistan and Soviet Union thus sent it's navy and they were ready for a nuclear war over India-Pakistan conflict.

Strangely, all this talk has come from India. I have rarely read about it anything in Pakistan, instead if there is anything mentioned in Pakistani text or by Pakistanis, it is their displeasure at USA for refusing to provide material support rather than verbal statements.

It is possible that a USA SSBN/SSN was on regular patrol, listening to radio intercepts and gathering intelligence to provide to the USA, but that doesn't mean that they were engaging in war.
Their Nuclear submarines main mission during peace time is recon and more recon.

A foxtrot submarine was a very noisy machine even by the standards of the day. And it readying it's torpedo tubes (as the writer mentions) would definitely have invited response from the so alleged American or any other Western Nuclear submarine. Just like you make out a propulsion system on the sonar, you can make out when the tubes are being loaded, flooded and doors opening.

So to me, this is another feel good piece of fiction from history.

Lol .This is not about damage or hatred.

Umm, their boats are on Patrol all over the world and given the importance of the region, there is a good chance that a US SSBN/SSN would be lurking in the waters around India/Pakistan/Iran
