It's easy to talk logic.

Say the US was crazy enough to nuke Pakistan over drone strikes or say conventionally destroy Pakistan, same difference. What is the alternative? Just do whatever US says under the threat of the gun? What's the point of Pakistan calling itself a country if it has to do what the US says? What's the point of democracy if the people don't want there to be drone strikes but since there is a threat that the US would destroy Pakistan we are bowing to their commands. What is the word for a country that has to do the bidding of another country? Colony. Declare Pakistan a colony then.

We can't fake calling ourselves a democracy when Americans not Pakistani people decide everything for us ultimately.

Pakistan isn't being coerced into permitting drone strikes on its soil. Surely there is some quid pro quo and benefit from drone strikes to those who call the shots in Pakistan. So accept that the problem lies within, if the institution that run your nation are unwilling or unable to enforce the will of the people then enforce compliance surely no institution in Pakistan can survive the fury of the masses.

Only NS has the stature and acumen to lead this country out of the mess PA has thrown it into. IK's Waziristan rally tells a lot what changes he will be bringing.

NS doesn't have eligibility to help Pakistan in this crisis. Look at these current policies in which he spent on Cosmetic Development without correcting the basis. Metro Project is project of deficit and will have to be banned in 3-4 years time OR it will become yet another money absorbing project. Was that absolutely required? NO it wasn't.. .people before this project were travelling and this wasn't killing their economy or future.

What else? Solar Panels distribution? NS forgot the basics of economics.. instead of building on Electricity Capacity which could be extended and built-upon further, he has thrown money into individual units which cannot help 0.1% of needed population. Also such projects are inequality useful for the people that only few houses will have those panels but rest will not. Why?

In these 5 years in Punjab Nawaz Shareef's government hasn't worked on foundations At all. Now PMLN and analyst everybody admits that Nawaz League was passive until Imran Khan's Jalsa and then they started those projects which we see - BUT - as the need demanded - these projects were the ones which could be shown as done but on ground they may and may not have social/public benefit. At the moment, Metro Buss is going good but with Hundreds of Millions of loss every month and its not going to turn into a profitable business as they are already running at their capacity and potential. Just like SASTI ROTI, it will have to be abandoned in 3-4 years time. I wonder if you haven't considered these aspects ever.

We have tried PA way of dealing with issues. Please look how NS tackled Sindhi and Baluch nationalists, he brought them into Pakistani mainstrem of politics. NS clearly said about 2 years ago that energy crises for most part was due to circular debt and that has to be cleared even if it means dropping major developmental work. Yesterday I was reading an article of PSO where management claims that PSO may go bankrupt taking many banks down with it. The culprit? Circular debt.
PTI was ridiculing NS on circular debt issue, its the same deal here. Lahoris appreciate Metro, it serves a specific purpose and same projects will be followed in Karachi and Peshawar.

Can you please explain without metro, that means until 1 year back, how come Lahore would have collapsed when this service wasn't there? I have been living in Lahore for years and I know inside out of this place. There is Hiace Service (Called Number Service) and Daewoo, Khan Transport, Double Decers, Mazda Services, Chingciz, Rikshaws.. Lahore has at least twice better transport system than any other city in the country. So this is crap that Lahore would've been un-livable in the absence of Metro Buss Service.

Secondly, there is no defense that why this Project of Loss is gifted to people of Punjab? Who is going to sustain this project? Money must be provided by other National Institutions which are already struggling to survive. Name a single Punjab Government Institute which is flourishing and which might support this for another 2 years? This is not a service but a managerial crime which will have abandoned in 2-3 years. How can you be blind of this single fact?

Finally, What is the cost of this project? Rs32 billion which is serving who? Yes Urban Population of Lahore only. There hasn't been any project in Sialkot or Gujranwala or Gujrat or Mianwali or Sahiwal and every other city of the provice while this is tax money collected from entire Punjab. This is unequal distribution of development which on its own is criminal act. When Raja Perveiz Ashraf has spent 30 Billions in his constituency, everybody shouted but when Mian Shahbaz Shareef has spent 30 Billions, you are clapping going crazy and appreciating. I wonder if you have stopped thinking altogether.
