You have to provide airspace rights as per international conventions. As long as the it is a transporter i.e C-5, C-17, you have to provide them overland passage.

Which conventions? I don't think its a requirement to give airspace rights to any military. If it is, whats stopping them from going over Iran? Its not like there is no other route to Afghanistan.

Every politician in PK including Bhutto was in one way or another brought forward by Establishment. That is what happens when Army starts playing politics. I condemn NS for those days but he has proven himself in the last 5 years. Do you know how many times he could have brought a motion of no confidence against PPP? PML-Q and MQM asked him in clear terms to move a no confidence motion.

Nawaz Sharif also became CM under....Zia-Ul-Haq with a Jernail as the governor!!!

Then Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a minister under Ayub Khan....Gilani as well under a dictator

It's easy to talk logic.

Say the US was crazy enough to nuke Pakistan over drone strikes or say conventionally destroy Pakistan, same difference. What is the alternative? Just do whatever US says under the threat of the gun? What's the point of Pakistan calling itself a country if it has to do what the US says? What's the point of democracy if the people don't want there to be drone strikes but since there is a threat that the US would destroy Pakistan we are bowing to their commands. What is the word for a country that has to do the bidding of another country? Colony. Declare Pakistan a colony then.

We can't fake calling ourselves a democracy when Americans not Pakistani people decide everything for us ultimately.
