If the Tax Collection is increased to 12-15% of the GDP, that is close to 8000 billion rupees from the current 4000 billion rupees collected as taxes, than there is no need for any IMF, ADP, Asian Bank bailout and packages, in fact Pakistan will get out of deficit financing and this is very much possible under Imran Khan tenure.

We are bankrupt and in debt not because we dont have resources ,its because we have scums of the earth ruling pour nation and corruption is integral part of our lifestyles and society. If we just correct our tax system trust me do not need any foreign debt and aid.

1Year =900B
Tax collection in 2017-2018= 3300B
things are not adding up.

Previous govt PML-N introduced this scheme to whiten the money & the govt + FBR extended the deadline last month..

These taxes are collected from the declaration of assets (liquid or immovable properties) which were not declared previously.. they were not in the tax net before, we're not talking about the regular tax payers...

Sir the total collection includes sales tax and indirect taxes. This high tax collection of 2.6B PKR in single day is direct tax collection by people ( Voluntarily).

i think people speculate that ik can change tax rates and other laws and income tax may become high so they decided to pay tax for current year with low rates because ik after becoming p.m will end amnesty scheme that is why tax collection increase
