Ok.. fair enough if it is just TRP, but it kills journalism.. as they focus more outside than inside.IK’s speech was aired before Modi’s, so it’s more likely it will be watched more, as people rather listened to Modi on Twitter live.
1. Indian media mentions Pakistan for TRP much as why Fiza Akbar Khan cries about India, same for TRP.
2. Modi achieved a lot of things he said, and he’s the one delivering on his promises, highest ever exports, highest ever FDI, Highest ever Forex and many great leaps forward like PLI Scheme and other schemes, and promoting startups on a global scale, and building infrastructure on a very fast pace, 5 trillion goal might be delayed due to pandemic, but will be achieved soon.
3. Isn’t that stupid to say? People here can protest as our democracy allows to, it’s our internal reforms which we took, otherwise we’ve seen tear gas shells being shot on government employees protesting in Islamabad or how force was used on TLP guys who were just fighting for the respect of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), even I can give such stupid examples, if reforming is fascism then I want modi to be a fascist, you didn’t reform, we’re reaping benefits of reforms we did.
Modi went there at USA and got investment commitment worth 50 billion dollars +.
And who lives under a fascist autocracy is well known
As far as I know, more middle class has moved into poverty. Govt is hiding stats as much as possible. Edible/mineral oil is getting expensive. FDI can be the looted turn laundered money of the politicians besides the foreign investment, anyway good for india. However, GDP growth has declined even before covid.
Comparing Pak with India for democracy is nt a good example, and still India is similar in democracy regarding corruption, family politics, ethnic/clan based politics etc. Why i said modi is fascist bcz of his ruthlessness. He didn't bother to meet farmers despite their one year protest. He didn't lift travel ban, while poor were walking to their way to home. Due to lack of empathy, I said so.
The rich got richer that is true. Having more smart phone companies, is somewhat achievement, but nearly all are foreign. India is making good automobiles, that is a feat, but it goes way back to 2000.But Modi has made the difference. Since the may 2014 when Modi arrived, Progress of India is unprecedented. We rose steeply in ease of doing business, We are today second most attractive manufacturing destination. In 2014, we had 2 factories producing mobiles but today we have 200+ and we are second largest manufacturer of Mobiles. Apple has come to India. A leadership in itself is not everything but it makes a big difference. Let me quote a small incident. When Nano plant of TATA was kicked out of West Bangal, he sent an SMS to Ratan TATA saying "Suswagatam". Ratan tata contacted him and ask him in what time will he made land available. Modi said very soon. Within 3 days, he made land available to TATA. Today, 1/3rd of cars produced in India is from Gujarat. It is rising very fast. Among the mocking, he made GIFT city. Today, many big finance companies are planning to shift to GIFT city for currency and stock exchange. It is estimated that when it will become fully functional, it will generate 400 bn USD business.
Same is the exciting story of Dholera and DImond Burge. They are very exciting stories but here people are interested in Toilet and Rapes and that is why I do not discuss it. Believe me if I post those stories here, it will be very exciting to read. It can give a human being a new direction to think. They are the stories of Humble human being to well know people starting from an old women who planted many trees to big Industrialist and Sadguru's Kaveri calling movement.
Some plantation drives in India is so praise worthy and marvellous, that I dream of Pak following such things. Sadguru is english speaking baba ramdev.
On topic: UN is a forum mainly to discuss international issue, in addition to your own achievements. IK did right to highlight the issues which can affect region and the world.
