What is outsiders???outsiders claiming city belong to me
Army is fully under control of Nawaz Sharif. They cannot do any operation without support of parliament.
Actually, whenever the military has taken over; Pakistan has progressed economically. Problem is, whenever they take over.. Pakistan gets involved in a war such as 1965 War [Ayub Khan], 1971 War [Yahya Khan], Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan [Zia ul Haq] and US Invasion of Afghanistan [Musharraf].For those that do not know history, Nawaz launched operation back in 90s as well. He also dismissed his own govt in the next election due to law and order.
So to say entirely the army deserves the credit is wrong. If army is so wonderful and so nice, why don't we just let it govern Pakistan? Oh wait, we saw how that worked out in past.
Lets be honest for two seconds here, the credit goes to Gen Raheel Sharif and Maj Gen Bilal. This operation was largely shoved down the Government's throat by the Army, this is not a hidden secret.
Ok Mohtarma trying to get over with it.What is outsiders???
Its pakistan. Woh sab ka hai. Its always this crass mindset that our enemies took advantage of.
Get over xenophobia
I hope you got what i was trying to say and not gotten offended.Ok Mohtarma trying to get over with it.

Yea that's my freakin problem with two gangsters living out side of Karachi and without shame claims it's belong to them. Karachi belong to karachiets, now FO and stay in your hadood arba, damn don't know if ignore option have expire limit. This is the main problem with you MQM gansters and supporters. You think like a mafia and perceive others like yourself. How on earth can a city belong to someone? Is this fucking monarchy or what?
To be honest, I am not even sure whether you're supporting the military at the moment or the civil government.Ha, Pakistan actually progresses thanks to the two war. US helping Pakistan tremendously due to soviet (also turning blind eye to Pakistan nuclear program) and 2001 war helps Pakistan get billions of dollars. Oh and did Mushi not drag us into Kargil war?
Tell me, how did Musharraf era progressed if only two years into the term did the war started? Even after the war he did very well and actually supported MQM (gave them governor, free hand in Karachi). Things started looking bad post 2005 earth quake.
Ayub Khan era was actually good (he still rigged election). And under Yahya khan we lost East Pakistan.
To be honest, I am not even sure whether you're supporting the military at the moment or the civil government.
I'll try to clear it out. The Soviet Invasion on Afghanistan did not benefit us as much as it harmed us. It was this war that led to the growth of terrorism in Pakistan. The war left deep scars to the Pakistan's society with the menace of Kalashnikov culture spreading all over the country. It is generally estimated that there are currently 20 million firearms in Pakistan at the moment. Similarly, the rise of the illicit drug trade and its spread through Pakistan to the rest of the world increased tremendously during the Soviet-Afghan war. In 1980, there were 50,000 drug addicts in Pakistan. In 2011, the numbers has increased to 8.1 million.
Moving on, the US Invasion of Afghanistan has resulted in a deadly rise of terrorist attacks. If it had not been for this war, Pakistan would not have been dubbed a "failed state". The United States had provided around $80.2 billion from 1948 - 2014. This is roughly the same amount Pakistan suffered since the start of the War in Afghanistan. So the truth is that Pakistan has lost more than it had gained. Now that the United States is withdrawing from Afghanistan, we'll lose our importance once again.
As for Yahya Khan, well his term was quite short. However, in 1970 under Yahya Khan; Pakistans economy rose by 11.4%. Ofcourse, this rise would come to an end an year later after East Pakistan got its independence.
