The problem is our core corrupt system need to fix from peon to highest grade officers are 90% corrupt. All institutions from education health FRB civil LeA you name it are corrupt.

The new FM is in because of the naivety of Asad Umar. IK himself is not an economic expert..not even close. He heavily relied on Asad Umar who marketed himself as an economic expert so much so that it was clear from the day one that he will be the FM in IK's cabinet. No other PTI member knew so clearly about the position he or she will get after the elections except Asad Umar.. but what he did was to create mess..He had not done his homework, he had no idea about gravity of the situation.. and he created uncertainty by making and reversing his own policies within days... OP can buy property, OP cannot buy property in Pak, There's tax on mobiles phones, there's no tax on mobile phones..that will be the tax on the business community, the tax is removed, the tax is reimposed... that is the mess that idiot of a person was doing... He Asad was worse than an economic hitman..

This is incorrect...all the pressure that caused reversals were due to lobbying. Asad Umar was right on track except he had no power. We are far more indebted to be able to make our own demands and choose our conditions. Asad Umar tried his best and was stubborn, hence the IMF team was not ready to negotiate with him. The IMF believes it has a solution for reforms but because IMF is never culturally tuned, even the newer faces you see will fail to bring in the actual reforms that are needed. You have to understand the gravity of the situation Pakistan does not have the dollars it spends, it borrows them. This is an unsustainable model and is the reason for our technical default.
