Imran Khan speech+Bangladesh

If things continue as they are, a time will come when we will hear speeches of Pakistan being compared to Uganda, Burkina Faso or other African states. At that time they will be doing a lot lot better than Pakistan.

I think Pakistan is finally moving in the right direction. This was apparently the first time that a democratic government was allowed to complete its term and hand over to another elected government without military intervention. It is also significant that none of the Islamic parties did well in these elections which shows the electorate to be more concerned with development. Probably to get better results it would be to do away with the feudal nature of your society which has not changed that much since 1971.

Hi, Imran Khan made his first speech in the Parliament of Pakistan after taking oath.
He also mentioned Bangladesh in his speech.

I would like to know what do Bangladeshi members think about it?

Edit1: thanks for fixing the title mods.

Nice speech as expected from a generous person like Imran Khan...I wonder how many members there understood what he meant :undecided:.

What he says makes a lot of sense but I would add that while Bangladeshis looked for justice in 1971 even after 42 long years we still do not have it ..... Time to secede from India me thinks ....

Application of medicines vary from patient to patient...while it's not possible to secede, why don't you think of the alternate? They can again breakdown like before...no?

Imran Khan is definitely one of my favourite politicians, reminds me of the kind Pakistani uncles in my area. However, saying Bangladesh is "tolerant" is nonsense! Bangladeshis babble on about how they have progressed in terms of GDP etc, it doesn't change the fact that Bangladesh is still one of the poorest countries in Asia.
