why dosent iran buys planes from China?

Because the UN sanctions prohibit it, they said they are working on their own fighter jet, but i am very skeptical about that, i dont think they will produce anything that decent, after all the best they could come up with so far is a modern f-5. However that being said i am not saying they are not very capable people, Iranians are some of the most capable people on the planet, i had 2 student who were Iranians and they were exceptionally good mathematicians, they are now studying at howard i think. Anyway my point is that, what they lack is proper funding and the resources.

If it was not for their stupid regime, they would had been one of the top 5 most successful nations by now.
but the Iranians had rather enter a much more strict Islamic state than become a very modern and global player.
The shah was much better than this government which they have right now, even though some people say he was an absolute puppet and so on, but at least he was putting the Iranian in their rightful place in the world, Iranians need to break free.
