There probably is a game behind these offerings. Why now, after this yemen crisis. PM is off to SA on a serious mission because his brother was returned home with no smile on his face, President is off to Turkey. Been hearing stories about China pressing Pakistan on this issue in secrecy but those could very well be rumors. I agree with you, in our village(I am Indian and Muslim) there are already 6 mosque and 7th is being planned near my house. for a population of just 2600 people 7 mosques are just waste of money and resources. In the month of Ramazan only one mosque get full others are just empty like every other day of the year.

Its a business. Building mosques is a great franchise, there is a lot of money to be made. First you grow a big beard, learn random Arabic terms, attract some crowd, take donations from people to build a mosque, use half the money to build a mosque and rest invest it in another business.

And today SA ended the Air campaign in Yemen and are going to launch New operation "Restoring Hope". Pakistan did good to refuse to be part of this campaign but should also send a strong and harsh message to Iran to stop meddling in Yemen.

And for Balochistan its not about people will utilize this mosque or not we all know that population of BL. is very less compare to other province and most of province is empty but look on the other side Balochistan doesnt have any building that can on icon and people will like it if its Blochistan and Baloch people are Patriotic and its time that we bring them in center....

Yes but that's our/ govts job to provide for Baluchistan be it iconic buildings or sense of belonging. Imam probably wants his mosque to be famous and well utilized like Faisal mosque or some other.

Why not in Balochistan Province, it will help us win the heart and mind of people and seeing that Gwadar is in Balochistan which is going to be economic hub then it should be in Balochistan

Conrulation on competetion of this grand mosque in Lahore. Karachi has 20 million people and lacks Jamia Masjids. Hopefully the future Bahria Jamia Masjid in Karachi would fill this void.

Malik Riaz Hussain is at least spending his money in Pakistan. Last year he sent trucks with food and water to Thar which was facing famine like situation due to crop failures and water shortages. Even Sindh government failed to provide any aid. While the criminal politicians and corrupt civil servants park their money outside the country.

Mr. 20% and his gang have not spent even a paisa of their stolen money in Pakistan. At least he has an ounce of decency while the PPP and its Sindh government did not even send a truck of food and water to starving people in Thar desert.

Ask Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan to build schools. Malik Riaz build this mosque from his own pocket. Asif Zardari only builds palaces in UK while Nawaz owns steel mill in Saudi Arabia. Our Finance minister Dar is also a millionaire with accounting firms in UAE. Ask them also to spend their own money to build schools and hospitals.
