I'm considering the option to join Pak Army, and I want information whether a course is available for me.

My details are:

Age: 19

Gender: Female.

My Education: I just completed my A-levels in Social Sciences. These include: Sociology, Psychology and Law. I did O-level in the normal science subjects like Physics, Chem, and Bio.

I want to join as a long course cadet in PMA. Will I need to give NTS examinations before I can apply?

Any information on courses, and their requirements are welcome.

This course is for females who have done their B.Sc. I haven't done that yet.

Aren't there any other course options? There ARE females in the army, that get trained in infantry warfare, airborne and sniper specialities.

If you check out the Join Pakistan Army website (2nd one) you will see all the induction entrees for the Army and no induction for female in the PMA Long courses.

All of the above courses can be taken up by women based on availability but currently lady officers are not posted to units in the fighting arms. The idea behind letting the women take these courses is to get them familiarized with the fighting arms.

Rashid Mahmood information is correct that the intake for the lady cadets is only through the LCC which means you have two more years to think about this and then eventually apply.

Your best bet is in Army support roles. Maybe you can join as an Army psychologist, once you graduate?
