The story of illegal organ donation, illegal organ transplantation is the story of greed and how inhumane people can become.

This does not involve politicians, not the military, not the bureaucracy. This trade involves high earning middlemen, back alley doctors and rich traders who exploit the poor working class of our country.

SIUT and the efforts of the great Dr. Adibul Hasan Rizvi, HI, SI can never be forgotten. They are a good model for public sector health in Pakistan as well as they generate a lot through charity and donation as the government cannot meet the expenses of free dialysis pf around 400 patients daily.

PS:- I know many can't watch Youtube, but that's not my problem.

Organ trade is a big problem in South Asia. But its on a much larger scale in Pakistan right now.

I personally know two army officers, who got their kidney transplant done in Pakistan cause the donor was poor and he sold his kidney for just Rs 40,000.

For the same kidney, people were asking upwards of 1.5 lacs in India.

This game needs to stop. People are selling their organs because of poverty and doctors cash in on them.

Its a great move, dair aye darust aye.:yahoo:

But the blame for it doesn't just goes to politicians but also those brokers who promote this business and even the donors. Most of the buyers are coming from foreign countries and the brokers promoting this business are all Pakistanis.

Also those who sell their body parts should be punished since they find it as a source for easy money, which is consumed over a period of a few days, obviously how long a few thousand rupees can last. And this way these people end up spoiling not just their own but their whole family's life.

Becuase Poverty is not a unique thing that is just found in Pakistan and in reality poor people in Pakistan still stand way better than many in the world such as Saudia(the poor ones), India, BD, Srilanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, African continent and even South American countries.

We and Even I mentioned a 100 times on this forum that Indian public is poorer than Pakistanis and there are 900 Million who cant find a meal a day, but now the point is. Why don't they donate their body organs !! Why is this not so common in other above mentioned countries which have higher poverty rates than us!!! Why they don't brag about poverty and their problems as much as our people do. These countries don't have any better or strict rules in this regard then Why is Pakistan the Number #1 organ market in the world. ????

Currently i don't have a source to prove this, but i heard it in news on Aljazeera that we are the biggest organ market worldwide but at the moment i coudn't find a complete written version of report from Aljazeera.

It shows that our poor and middle-class people are more prone to easy money or immoral ways of earnings than the people of other poor nations around the world and we have a habbit of over crying on our problems than the others.:hitwall:
