امریکی سٹیٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ حرکت الجہاد الاسلامی کو ہندوستان اور پاکستان میں ہونے والی کئی دہشت گرد حملوں کا ذمہ دار گردانتا ہے جن میں سن دو ہزار چھ میں کراچی میں امریکی قونصل خانے پر ہونے والا حملہ بھی شامل ہے جس میں چار افراد ہلاک ہوئے تھے۔

امریکی خبر رساں ادارے ایسوسی ایٹڈ پریس کی ایک رپورٹ کے مطابق امریکہ اور پاکستان مشترکہ انٹیلیجنس ٹیم بنا کر جن پانچ شدت پسندوں کو نشانہ بنانا چاہتے ہیں ان میں القاعدہ کے رہنما ایمن الظواہری، عطیہ عبدالرحمن، طالبان رہنماؤں ملا عمر اور سراج حقانی کے ساتھ الیاس کشمیری کا نام بھی شامل ہے۔

ایک سرکاری اہلکار نے بی بی سی کو بتایا ہے کہ انہیں بھی ڈرون حملے میں الیاس کشمیری کی ہلاکت کی اطلاعات ملی ہیں لیکن وہ ابھی تک ان خبروں کی تصدیق نہیں کر سکتے۔

سرکاری اہلکار کے مطابق جمعہ اور سنیچر کی درمیانی رات وانا بازار سے تقریباً بیس کلومیٹر دور جنوب مشرق کی جانب غواخواہ کے علاقے لمن میں ایک امریکی جاسوس طیارے سے مسلح شدت پسندوں کے ایک گروہ کو اس وقت نشانہ بنایا گیا جب وہ ایک سیب کے باغ میں چائے پی رہے تھے۔

انہوں نے بتایا کہ حملے میں نو افراد ہلاک جبکہ تین زخمی بتائے جاتے ہیں۔

Now before you bad mouth, You should think Lakhvi and his associates are in jail. But the Evidences linking Hafiz is Null. Because of your personal enmity with Hafiz Saeed, You tried to frame him unsuccesfully
