The historical movement of Abu Muslim Khorasani that started from Khorasan reached Yazd and in the historical castle of Aberandabad in Yazd there was bloodshed and a dispute over the helm of Yazd, but what was the historical course of this movement to Yazd?
As the Umayyad government expanded its rule over Iran, and one after another Iranian cities sought to establish movements to preserve their cultural originality, Abu Muslim Khorasani succeeded in exploiting the power of the Iranians to establish a movement in Khorasan. To begin.
In this movement, they wore black Iranians as a sign of mourning for the household of Prophet (PBUH), so the Black Jam movement was the first movement that was able to overthrow the Umayyad government with the help of the Abbasids and give Khorasan to them for a while.
After the fall of the last ruler of Khorasan in Merv, Abu Muslim decided to open other cities in the region, including Isfahan, Abarkooh and Yazd. He took control of these cities.
Uprising and killing in Aberandabad castle of Yazd
"Mahmoud Kateb" in the book "History of Yazd" talks about "Ahmad Zamji"; There is a story about the escape of Abu Ala Tusi, the ruler of the Umayyads in Yazd, and his taking refuge in the castle of Aberandabad, which is located today in the city of Shahdiyeh, so that Ahmad Zamji destroyed the pavilion of the ruler of the Umayyads with the help of the people. "Abad went to arrest him and punish him for his actions, and this was achieved."
The story goes that Ahmad Zamji fought with Abu Ala, who was ruled by Marwan Hamar, the ruler of that province, and while he entered Yazd with the knowledge of Yazid, he was burned with rage and his children and companions under the blade. They took revenge. At the end of this battle, Ahmad Zamji killed Abu Ala in Abrandabad fort and in that region (Yazd) he sat on the throne.
Ahmad Zamji built a new pavilion on the site of Qasr Alaa, and the neighborhood now known as the New Pavilion is a remnant of his works at the time.
The second most famous book of Iranians in support of Iranloo movements after "Abu Muslimnameh" is the book "Zamjinameh" which contains epic narratives and highlights the position of Iranians.
