What's new

If Vietnam can beat China, so can India. This is not 1962.

Now we beat Vietnam with money and industry chain..
Vietnam is now making low cost components for China, where China is getting expensive

Only the fool that can ignore the huge unbalance of military and economy between China and India..

Xi will be a fool if he thinks he can get away with a war with India...the economic and more importantly the political cost will be too much for China and him personally.

You are in Germany, did you study Bismark? He is one of my favorite 19th century politician along side Li Hongzhang, and Ito Hirobumi.

The fact of the matter is China is a rising power, the US is all around us, any movement by China is going to be seen as aggressive, same for Germany, and same for Japan. Compared to those two, we are saints.

Yet, this is a part of the process to become a world power. How many Americans never came back from Europe for America to be America. How many Russians? How many Japanese died for their country? Conflict is inevitable whenever there is change. The pie is only so big, if it's more for me, it is less for you. The fact that you even had that pie to begin with means you taken it from someone else and there is no way you would just give it up.

As to Xi, come on man, no need for that, if we get down to it, which communist party has done the better job. Yes, you are still communist, at least in name.
No I don't know much about him, Otto von Bismarck. Is he not the man who united Germany, making the country to a dominant economic and military power in Europe? I don't know anything about the other two persons you mentioned. Do you know the difference between Bismark and Hitler? There is a german word: Größenwahn. Actually not wrong to seek a great power status, but Bismark achieved the goal by decisive victories over the enemies and smart diplomacy with friends and allies to maintain peace, Hitler only resorted to brute force. In Germany the people will call it "Dummheit". If you believe brute force is the only way to change the balance of power then be it.

First there is no huge military unbalance between China and India. Look at the Global Firepower ranking...China is ranked third while India fourth on Global military power. Second...China has no real fighting experience...India has been fighting Pakistan everyday since last 40 year on the some of the highest mountains in the world and has success fought 4 full time war with Pakistan. Third...you are fighting not in planes but on mountains and in Jungles...India's mountain and Jungle warfare in the best in the world...even US comes to India to learn the war tactics on those areas...

Bismark is 100% about brute force, he's smart about it however. He would never push too far. He decisively defeated both the French and the Austrians. He essentially, tricked and forced the other two to attack Prussia, thus inciting anti Austrian and anti French sentiments among German states, that ultimately forced the other German states' hand in joining his confederation and empire.

The difference here with Hitler, is he stopped just short of Vienna and he would not take anymore of France than what was disputed, Alsace Lorraine.

China is doing more or less the same. China has problems near its borders, like Prussia, but China also has friends. Pakistan, Africa. It is now expanding in a big way into Europe and South America. It is the largest trading nation and is involved in a few ventures like BRICS Bank and AIIB as well as OBOR.

If one stops to look, China is not solely about using force, but also about making friends and world development and trade. However, if you focus on just SCS and India, then yea, you will see a different picture. But take a look, China is not seeking to dispute more than what is already disputed with India. China is not looking for regime change nor conquest of any SCS states. It is not seeking active sabotage and war with Japan and America.

What would the comparison with Hitler begin?

Most India warfare are imported while most Chinese warfare are made in China.
If the war last for more than one month, I doubt if India has sufficient ammo to continue...

Second, the war between India and PAK are more likely border gun shoot.
Your experience with PAK is not working with China.
China has far more power than PAK.

Also the terrain issue is for both side. Not only for China.
We will not send mountain force to fight your mountain force. Which is a stupid idea.
We will cut off your vulnerable supply lines and all these mountain force is over..

So imported bombs and missiles don't work?Amazing Chinese logic....

Just open the fire, blabla talking is meaningless. We will help to test your miliatry capability.

Too many India army will surround due to run out of ammunition.
Most India ammunition will not last long..
While we are always fully supplied.
There is enough bullets to aim and shoot every Chinese soldier... and enough bombs to take out all Chinese tanks.. and enough missiles to take out communication lines ....

So imported bombs and missiles don't work?Amazing Chinese logic....

As long as your soldiers can understand the operational mannual, the weapons can work. I remember you blowed up your own Kilo submarine 3 or 4 years ago because the sailers don't understand Russian lanague and made fatal mistakes.

Nobody knows about the ammunition levels in China or its war preparedness...China is authoritarian country, hence is not obliged to bring in its ammunition levels and war preparedness to public. Unlike in India, where you send a RTI letter to the government and your get the ammunition levels.

Anyway... you are wrong in assuming that......all ammunition of India is imported...India is a huge country, only 20% of India's defense capex budget go into exports...remaining 80% is used to make ammunition and other military investments in India....

Like this :
August 2011 - radioactivity release on board an 8,000-ton Type 094 Jin-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, docked in Dalian. According to reports, China Era Electronics Corporation was installing an electronic system when the leak occurred.

LOL

No. you don`t even have so much money to import so much ammunition...
India is a poor country

China too is a not rich country...your GDP per capita is less than many African countries. Look at the list in IMF website for GDP per capita

While India is a corrupted country, where people`s hard money is spent to feed the corrupted politician.
Even those money to import, much will return to these politician. Or you are not getting a contract...
