With the recent trend it's safe to say it's a terrorist attack by desperate India.
RAW & NDS are using Pustuns of Afghanistan and KPK to create instability and thwart CPEC.
so Sad Pakistan's top general is being leased out to that incompetent insecure Saudi-led "security coalition"...Pakistan needs to bring that genius Kayani back though..He is in Saudi Arabia leading the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC).
All they can do is attack vegetable stands, nothing more. Resolve of Pakistani people won't be broken.
No - that is a complete misunderstanding of how COIN works.A new Zarb-e-Azb is needed in the region. The effects of the old one are wearing off.
Better act fast.
wut ?India is ramping up its Hindutva Terrorism again

The military and paramilitary did their job in clearing the area in Zarb-E-Azb. What was needed and is needed is reconstruction, development and local civilian capacity building. Local civilian law enforcement needs to be strengthened in terms of equipment, training and numbers and they need to engage in community outreach for purposes of intelligence gathering to preempt such attacks.
Parachinar is going to have additional issues because of the long standing Shia vs Sunni tribal feuds, which the TTP manipulated and exploited very well during their heyday.
If you send the Army in again without addressing the long term requirements then you'll end up in the same place again in a few years ... asking for Zarb-E-Azb part 3
wut ?
that area has traditionally not been fond of the Pakistani state, and also been a target of sunni extremist groups.
Balochistan, Karachi KSE, this one now.. I doubt India are that capable.
That’s incorrect. The Shia tribes in Parachinar have every interest in staying with the State of Pakistan because the Afghan government certainly can’t protect them from groups like ISIS & the TTP.wut ?

Despite multiple horrible terrorist attacks on those tribes, they have remained steadfastly loyal to Pakistan.
I agree - the situation is complex enough without the Iranians recruiting people from these tribes for their proxy wars abroad.Last attack on Parachinar was a tribal feud with an Afghan Pukhtoon tribe, so here Pakistan would be seen as taking the side of peace and trying to prevent attack on its Parachinar people.
We should keep foreign footprint out of this region, whether Indian, Afghan intelligence, or Iranians.
Part in bold— not true, it is nothing like Indian occupied Kashmir for comparison. Sure writ of the state and government administration/representation was missing historically, but that’s not due to hostility to the state of Pakistan.wut ?

It just inflames sectarian tensions further, especially when these recruits are linked with atrocities perpetrated in Syria etc. which they may not even be involved in.

In fact, tribals welcomed the recent move of FATA becoming part of KPK province, it meant better representation. And in the past Afghanistan has tried very hard to ignite a Pushtunistan insurgency here. It has never worked because locals don’t support it.
Since 1955, Afghans did this, throughout that era in FATA radio transmissions of anti-Pakistan propaganda and Pashtunistan were heard from Afghanistan. In 1960/61 Afghan militia entered the area, our own tribesman fought them back. In summer 61’, they sent regulars, then both the military and FATA tribes stomped intruders.
Yes there are multiple very serious problems, but they are not separatist movements.
Yes you are that capable, and yes your agencies would and have done this and more. This capability is enjoyed at very little cost due to the use of Afghan soil as a spring board against us.
Besides this, there are multiple clear cut and blatant cases of Indian backed terror in Pakistan in the last 10 years. Even if in singular cases your culpability cannot be surmised, it’s there in the broader picture, and we even have living proof of it in Kolbhushan.
I think PA need to setup a permanent base , because these people are constant victim of Taliban, TTP and ISIS attacks...Before Gen Raheel took over the security , but don't know if it was for short term. That’s incorrect.
