Always my point when anyone talks about missile defence

Its one thing taking on a handful of rockets or missiles in small numbers occasionally flying over but another when you have numerous missiles fired at a location

I understand about the missiles but how about the 30mm gun which should be enough for cruise missiles and any drones...
on the other hand, if it needs to reload missiles why its in the middle of area as a sitting duck? why dont they take it somewhere to hide..
it might also be poor training of Syrian soldiers..
too many questions in my head to be honest..
