one seen in the right side of the pic,next to the WSO's cockpit.
it resembles an air to air refuel probe,but its not

No not that ... he means that which protrudes out like a refuel-er probe.... I think could be some kind of antenna?

it is called Pitot tube Basically, a pitot tube is used in wind tunnel experiments and on airplanes to measure flow speed. It's a slender tube that has two holes on it. The front hole is placed in the airstream to measure what's called the stagnation pressure. The side hole measures the static pressure. By measuring the difference between these pressures, you get the dynamic pressure, which can be used to calculate airspeed.

On an airplane, the pitot tube can be mounted in a number of ways, including jutting out from the edge of the wing or sticking up from the fuselage

They are not hi tech but very important. On the ground they need to be covered (to prevent bugs/dirt getting in) but covers need to be removed before flight.

The covers were cause of the unfortunate crash of Birgenair Flight 301

pilot tube is on the left side of the pics and right side of the plane-
