2. We dont know whether he is alive.
3. PA has hanged its PM in the past without batting a eye.
4. PA has hanged more than a 100 of its own citizens in similar "trials" in less than a year , and their countrymen are fine with it.
Summary is that its basically a show put up by the agency that matters in Pakistan.
We cannot judge this by our standards of 3 hanged in 10 years.
Pakistan is not a normal country by our standards and we should accept ky's loss as unfortunate and plan our answer.

Well it can be said as a temporary stay is granted yet execution is being proven as dismissed.



No it does not and Pakistan can still deny the same. There are certain citations and other rulings to prove as such. However stay is granted yet in easy words, it is still up-to Pakistan either entertain ICJ or not.

Consular access isn't going to change the outcome of the sentence, maybe changed to life.

India will go claiming torture (whether true or not). And Pakistan will say whatever.

Indian side clearly were well prepared and presented the case ..Pakistani side was unprepared and did not responded as a state ...
Even if India loose from now onward they have won the confidence of there people and operatives that they will not be disown and left to mercy...
No doubt India is well ahead in term of diplomacy at international level..
Indias state works in organised manner when it comes to national interest while Pakistanis are more influenced toward there petty internal politics ...

Off course Pakistan is not normal country by your pathetic standards,
We don't kill people just for eating their diet or even transporting some livestock.
We don't take revenge on a whole community and kill thousands for the mistake of a few... so much for batting eye.
Our army certainly hasn't trampled other's religious monuments and killed thousands.
We certainly can't match the Indian version of Gujarat genocide.

And I am here as a proof of Indian brutality, I served in Indian army but when Sikh started freedom struggle Hindu officers and Jawan starts asking our love for country we forced to prove our Desh-Bakti by killing our own youth but I refuse and as result they court martialled me and sent me in a jail by labelling me pro Khalistani.

And now I am pro Khalistan and Pro Kashmir.

Kulbhushan Jadhav case: Reversal of sentence not a foregone conclusion, says expert

NEW DELHI: While India has got the provisional measures it had sought from ICJ when it initiated proceedings against Pakistan in Kulbhushan Jadhav case on May 8, a much tougher test lies ahead at the international Court which will now consider the issues involved in greater details.

As per the procedures involved, ICJ President Ronny Abraham is now expected to meet representatives of both nations to prepare a timeline for filing of written submissions to take the case forward. Pakistan is likely to challenge ICJ's jurisdiction and, in that case, the court may want to settle this issue first before going ahead with India's petition.

India's final objective is that ICJ set aside Jadhav's conviction and order his release. According to international lawyer and former law clerk at ICJ Shashank Kumar, who had predicted that ICJ was not going to be influenced by Pakistan's arguments about jurisdiction and lack of urgency in the matter, it is far from clear whether or not the Court can grant such a request by India. The ICJ, which has acknowledged Pakistan's violation of VCCR, may simply ask Islamabad to review and reconsider possibly through a domestic process the Jadhav case.

"In past cases concerning denial of consular access, the Court has usually ordered the respondent country to undertake a 'review and reconsideration' of the sentence and conviction by means of its choosing, eg., through the domestic judicial process, taking into account the violation of the rights under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations," said Kumar.

"Leaving aside the fact that all the previous cases involved the United States as the respondent, were the Court to award similar relief in this case, Pakistan could simply undertake such review and reconsideration under its domestic legal system," he added.

There is of course no guarantee that such review by Pakistan would lead to Jadhav's release, as desired by India.

According to Kumar, at this stage, it would probably be in India's interest to stretch the ICJ case as long as possible, as this would at least ensure that in keeping with today's order, Jadhav is not executed by Pakistan while the case is pending before the ICJ.
