Its I know all and arrogance!! The contents of subject "History" is always debatable, but agree to disagree should be the motto not that I am superior to you. Like Churchill said "History will be kind enough to me for I would write it"!!

BTW from sci-fi POV some one should invent time machine, so that instead of arguing we can visit that time and "doodh ka doodh aur pani ka pani" ho jayega!!

Contents of 'History' is not a subject of debate. Problem lies in its interpretation. For example, Ramayana, off course one of the finest epics in the history of world does not hold much value to a set of historians as a reliable text to write Indian history for its countless limitations. The epic has two distinct variations in the early Buddhist and Jain literature, contradicting if not wholly, some of the major parts in the dominant version; however these two variations do not seem to hold much value either to the other set of Historians (the right wing), as the alterations definitely breach their fortress of Indian tradition and culture. The zeal was never to prove the supremacy of one theory on another but to reach a hurried conclusion which is practically impossible in case of early Indian history. Sadly enough, lack of such zeal makes one a Jihadist today.
