i am not sure about details, but design is of USA trainer which many countries have adopted

All BTT pretty much looks the same , there isn't a single source of the design! Same here the HTT , it may look the same - doesn't mean it is borrowed

I may be wrong, there was discussion about it in the past, where it s said , HTT 40 won't fail, because it's already a proven design...

Most BTT follows a basic proven design. Nothng to really fail, albeit software issues.
