IAF Training aircraft crashes

HYDERABAD: A Kiran trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed today in Keesara near Hyderabad. The two-seat trainer was being flown by a flight cadet.

The pilot, believed to have taken off from the Hakimpet Airforce Station, ejected about 2 km from the crash site using a parachute. The pilot is safe, police said.

The incident took place around 11 am after the plane experienced technical glitches, a police officer added.

More details are awaited

Well Kiran IJTs are old and Tejas will replace them later anyway.

Indian politician mind always army people come from eye open but still we come from dead go for hell all weapon old technology.

Kirans are ancient.

HTT-40 is still at least 2 years away if not more.

We need to seriously focus more on defence aviation. It only captures headlines and that too for wrong reasons.

But nothing materialises.
