Tejas seems like the spoilt son of a rich father, who knows how to get money out without any achievement of his.
When assessing Tejas in comparison to other 4th generation fighter jets, taking into account its size and weight, it stands out as the best among 4th generation fighters. Additionally, its small and lightweight nature inherently provides an advantage for a fighter jet.

One thing you’re not taking into account is experience of the time of the aircraft, hours, real time battle situations. Operational history. You’re talking about avionics which do look great on paper but have no established history of performing under real circumstances. And that my friend is the main rationale behind tejas having a long, long way to overcome JF 17 and the reality of the situation is when tejas gains 10 years of operational experience Jf 17 will be at 30. Not because it’s a superior or inferior aircraft but only because it has been put through situations that simulations can never compare to. Just how kia will never compare to Toyota for the above mentioned reasons.

The weird thing is Indians had an opportunity to create their own aircraft but were far too deep in Russian camp and were more into procurement of aircraft and only developing subsystems. Sadly the same thing we see today. Now logically speaking you don’t have any moral right to insult Pakistan’s endeavor on having an aircraft of their own with China’s help when you want the world to praise your unproven aircraft, still commendable but A LONG way to go. So like I say to you guys before don’t act like your shit don’t stink.

Larger aircraft are easier to detect with radar and the naked eye, require bigger hardened shelters for storage, larger runways, and various other complexities. Look at the picture, observe the size of Tejas in comparison to its payload and range; it truly stands out as the best-equipped 4th generation fighter jet.

A common belief among most Pakistanis on this forum is that the Tejas is yet to take its first flight, but that's incorrect. In reality, it took its maiden flight in 2001 and has been in service since 2011. It's a mature and established platform.

Tejas Mk1 has 3 axis Digital Fly-By-Wire (roll, yaw & pitch) while the initial versions of JF-17 only have pitch axis digital FBW and not digital in other two axis. Tejas’ control law is one of the bests in the world in general
The flight characteristics is something that is continuously improving because the major cause of delay was also the biggest advantage, because the west denied us access to whole algorithms which has led DRDO to develop its own digital FBW here in India itself. It's all ours only.

That means every hour an LCA flies, more data is collected and the software is improved. This has already lead to an improvement in Angle of Attack by 1.5 degrees. The Computers have been improved to take control of the aircraft and bring it back into flight envelope.... So hopefully Mig21 like accidents won't happen during its operational

Again it's not the world beater, but it will do fine

If we give up now, then in few years everything we have learnt will start to get lost. It's important to stick with this project untill the next one gets into production

You have to compare with other light weight fighters or medium weight fighters not heavy weight fighters

With the exception of the J10C, all jets in the PAF inventory are considered outdated. How many fighter jets in the PAF inventory are equipped with a liquid-cooled AESA radar and a powerful engine? Aside from the J10C, no other fighter jet in the PAF has a liquid-cooled AESA Radar. The JF17 Block 3 has an unproven AESA Radar that is air-cooled and powered by an underpowered engine. In contrast, the Tejas MK1A comes pre equipped with a powerful liquid-cooled AESA Radar and a strong engine.

Where do get block 3 is air cool AESA,KL-7A is liquid cool AESA it is Chinese LFK-627 can't remember correct name which is air cool
