Its difficult but not impossible we can easily see the difference between the intent of present Govt as compare to UPA govt for indigenization of defence forces...and with the private sector getting involved things are only going to get better....

FGFA will be in service 2021/2, the AMCA will be in service, at best, in 2027.

I guess u r talking abt lca mk2,,,,mk1 is already inducted in IOC std.

So MK1 is the version that does not work properly and you have to wait for MK2 now. A long wait.

Its not that simple. Fifth generation tech will need high end R&D, even preliminary work is not underway. AMCA will come but it will take its own time.
