I meant that Pakistan has been procuring Mi8/17 from Russia directly quite a few times. So has been tanks in case of T55s. And even services for T80.

The point being , Mi17s and Mi35s don't signal abonhomie, a Mi28 and Migs and Sukhois and air defence missiles does.

And if we can put hurdles for Pakistan in US, we can surely do that in Russia , making sure it remains the status quo.
