IAF MiG-27 crashes- pilot safe

NEW DELHI: An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-27 fighter crashed in Rajasthan on Wednesday but the pilot ejected to safety, an official said.

"The aircraft was on a routine training mission. It crashed near Jodhpur. The pilot ejected to safety," an IAF spokesman here said.

hawks are brand new training aircraft's as Far as the flying coffins you mentioned they all will be replaced once LCA MK1 AND 2 ,MRCA aircraft is selected and the 29 has a fantastic record with IAF and i dot care about the other air forces and we sent our mig 29s for further up gradation and of COURSE will eventually be replaced by AMCA

Actually i really am not sure.

we have 121+ Migs to be replaced
100+ mig-27 to be replaced.
And 139 Jaguars to be replaced.

True,but they have to figure out something to keep these in good operating conditions!This A/C along with MiG-21 have seriously dented the IAF's image in our youngsters eyes!everyone wants to join either the Army or the Navy and even if they choose the air force they would want to fly the flanker or the mirage!

Then we should be seriously looking at a ground attack fighter for MRCA, but EF a air superiorirty fighter is leading.. How Bizzare...

And whats the update on Jaguars engine update?? Nothing came up after that Honeywell advertisements.. are these planes flying or what?/
