For many Indians in Western countries, its considered "cool" to bash India or Indian stuff.

Don't make a fool of yourself by assuming.

I just compared the achievement of ISRO and DRDO as the technology and complexity of what they deal with on a day to day basis is similar. You have used the words, rant, talk big, etc but do realize that you are the one who is doing that. I have not made a single personal remark and you have made it a point to say this again and again.

Start with a personal attack and then blame others for same. LOL.

Anyways, why don't you support your silly claims with some proofs?

I was not trying to undermine Tejas but defending it. I was comparing Tejas with F-16IN, Mig-35 and Gripen NG. If I compare Marut with F-22 what is holding you? No more reply to you.

You are comparing two aircrafts in different categories, one under-development and testing aircraft and another fully developed 4 decade old aircraft with different engine ratings and then claiming that its inferior.

That is called ranting.

If you want to say that "LCA is delayed" then provide me a similar class aircraft programme which did faster than DRDO. Then we can compare in logical manner than based on emotions and reducing whole stuff to rantings.

Yes indeed it was expected out of a canadian,who knows nothing about nation and national respect,who depends on a neighbour for even its foreign policy let aside security...For me Canada is one amongst the richest slave countries..

Another pointless ASR from the air force..brochuritis at its best..the best thing for India's young aerospace industry would have been to notch up quick wins without all the delays that have plagued projects such as the LCA ..a 2025 timeframe means its going to be a long gestation period..and considering that even the bear's stealth plane isnt completely stealthy the air marshall's shud have defined requirements that may not be a raptor-hunter but still good enuf to fulfill objectives i.e. replace the mig27s n jaguars. the mca wind tunnel design could have achieved those objectives and prolly have manned squadrons in the 2020 time range...since most tech know how in that area is developed or development cycle is matured enuf ...superior design on paper dont deter enemies..numbers in operational squadrons do...giving the shaheens what it needs decent quality in numbers...instead hamsters will keep spinning wheels and there wont be a prototype till 2025 maybe 2030..by that time next gen ASR will come up for 6th gen bird...wat a waste of time..much closer coordination between the air force , drdo n industry is required even for defining requirements that can be realistically met by research n industry...there has to be some oversight over the fighting forces n how they define requirements...but sadly i think this may turn out to be another lca n arjun saga...successful but after a lot of pain n delays...our kids can continue this thread in 2025 over whether mca is superior to JF-27...or whether mca mk 2 will have 4d TVC

Giving India's track record, it should jointly develop the AMCA program with a foreign contractor. Otherwise, it would be another LCA time line. 30-40 year development cycle. The gov requirement would continue to change during this time and it would be another Tejas experience.

Good companies for India to work with in developing such a plane is LM or Northrup grumman. These companies has experience with stealth planes like no other. If India is willing to jointly work with them, than and if only than can India field AMCA by 2025-2030 time frame. Otherwise, forget it all and stop wasting money.

well india has some experience with LM having worked with them in developing LCA - claws. but working with US entities is always fraught with ...unforeseen change in policies n administration changes...they r umm...slightly unreliable partners...plus they r always looking for leverage..n influence policy making..russkies r better option..but again capability wise not up there with the americans...what has been the chinese experience with the J-xx ?
