IAF ends up in unviable state after Pulwama event - Deputy Chief of Air Staff Shahid Akhter Alvi

Just as with 65, the Indians have learnt their lesson and are now looking for a 71.

Question is whether the leadership of Pakistan will be busy in orgies and corruption and its people hating each other as in 71 or will better sense prevail?
I hope we learn from history !

I hope we learn from history !

Absolutely, history is always full of lessons & the irony is very few learn lessons from it.

The victory we had at 27th Feb was a partial victory, such victories can make you complacent while enemy gets wise, So we must stand our guard, stay awake, analyse the whole episode thoroughly.

We must remember that IAF did succeeded in violating our air space at 26th Feb, though their strike was unsuccessful, so we must draw our lessons, bridge gaps in our defences.

Most of all we must stay united, disciplined and Faithful.

As Quaid said, Faith, Unity, Discipline.

Lets hope for the good.

Quite correct. Fish rots from the head, as they say. My last visit & i realised the community et large civil or non-civil has turned into walking androids. The first sign to elimination. Now lets see if we can be an exception, i hope so.

What the Pakistani establishment doesn't realize is that events like that of 2001 Parliament attack, 2008 Mumbai attacks and now the Pulwama attack...offer the Indian military the opportunity to identify the chinks in its armor.

2001 gave birth to CSD, 2008 introduced an extremely survivable and possibly counter-force nuclear doctrine. Balakot/Rajouri will give them all the needed incentive to go for western equipment for IAF & IA in large numbers...and this is just the military build-up. There is an unprecedented covert support of the Baloch/Pashtun separatism combined with sectarian conflicts on the horizon.

I don't think we "don't" realize. With limited budget, we are also updating our armed forces accordingly. However there is a roam for latest two to three squad of 4.5 generation plane in my opinion along with Jf17 block 3.
