Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne, Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff, is leading a composite delegation comprising officers from the three services, on a four day visit to the South Korea (ROK).

During the visit to Seoul and other places, Air Chief Marshal Browne, is scheduled to call on the Kim Kwan-Jin, Minister of Defence, and would also be meeting General Jung Seung-jo, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), General Sung Il-Hwan, Chief of Staff, ROK, Air Force and Rear Admiral Jung Jin Seob, Commander ROK Navy Second Fleet.

He is likely to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues such as ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries towards expanding the bilateral defence ties, officials said here.

Air Chief Marshal Browne would also visit the Second Fleet Command located at Pyeongtaek, ROK Air Force Academy, located at Cheongju, Chungbuk as well as the 17th Fighter Wing based at Cheongju, Daegu.

The IAF Chief had postponed the visit to South Korea by a week to oversee the IAF’s rescue and relief operations in rain-ravaged hilly areas of Uttarakhand.

IAF chief in S.K. ???? Why ??? Shouldnt it be IN chief ???

IAF chief should have gone to French air show ;)
