Again the IAF fighter jets just carried out touch and go without actually landing.
Last time the IAF authorities blamed a stray dog for not landing, although that would have effected only one aircraft....what's their excuse this time .

because they were meant for touch and go not for actual landing.

IAF never said last time that one of the aircraft had to abort a landing because of a stray village dog but that it had to abort a touch and go.

It was kind of pointless till now.
Till when Pakistan was the only country with whom we could go to war, it was not necessary. Pakistani military is not capable enough to be able to remove major airbases of any region of India, such that a dire situation could come when the planes would need to refuel and turn around on highways.

Now, that the military is starting to prepare itself to be able to fight China, need is arising to start preparing contingency plans. Their military is capable to be able to take out Indian bases.

I bet India is very happy with the C-130J.
