There are provisions where CM etc can requsition IAF aircraft. It is possible the CM of Assam did this.

If used for private purposes, they ( read party) has to pay.

This shouldn't even be news. The pilot made a judgement call about weather conditions, and decided it was too risky to fly. That much comes as part of their job description. If he had refused to fly because of his political orientation, that would have been a matter for national news media to report.

This is a news because NDTV et al wants to bully this nation to prove their loyalty with the prince of India.
