Indians are used to Russian stuff. They will need plenty time to understand western technology. Just like anyone else. And even then, they will remain less then China.

we already operate sepecat jaguar, mirage 2000 which are western platforms.

IAF have western aircrafts for decades like Jags and Mirage-2000 etc.


IAF and IA investing lots of money on SAMs...

100/110 km MRSAM (18 squadron)
25/30 km Akash (Total 3000 missiles)
15 km SPYDER (4 squadron)
15 km SRSAM (49 squadron)

These should cover entire Indian airspace with high concentration around border areas.

What's the point of getting both su 27 and j 11, they're both virtually the same....... Also I doubt whether mig 35 will go beyond the tech demonstrator stage, Russia doesnt want it, India doesnt want it, China doesnt want it, if you guys do then you'll have to pay for the development

F-22 is not gonna be for Export and all of them have been grounded.
F35 hasn't met the expectations and Bhartis turned it down.
PAK-FA is gonna be around 2017, until then we will have J10Bs, Most or all the F-16s upgraded, JF-17s (with Block II) complete and even J15s for Navy. By that time, J11s/Su27 or Mig35 would be on order (I hope its J11).

Please stop kidding around.

Sorry to disappoint you. Bharti Powerful Navy BPN interested in F-35 and they sent RFI resulting Lockheed Martin made a presentation about the aircraft to the Indian Navy.

Can't say anything in reply about your lie Indians turned down F-35, so went back to 1965? But this is 2011. What happened in 1971 when Indian Navy attacked Pakistan's largest city and naval base Karachi? In 1965 Indian army was at door step of Lahore.
