well, its obvious your security forces/govmt will communicate to you or the media in that way ( that US is helping securing their weapons) but if you see the reality, you cant secure something if you don't have access to it!

US does not secure it, we do. They, especially IAEA only tell how to put safety barriers. Pakistan can not give anyone access to its nuclear assets. Hell, they can't even come close to these areas. But they are more than satisfied with security we have put in place. It is acknowledged on all serious levels. Media rattling like on Fox news or indian media can not be taken seriously. They drew parallel after attack on Kamra base with our nuclear assets which they said are just close by lying in someone's garage or something.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s unblemished record of nuclear safety, together with its continuing cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), especially in the ‘Safeguards’ domain, were issues for deliberations at the Foreign Office on Monday.

Pakistan’s cooperation with the IAEA is being appreciated as are Pakistan’s implementation of its safeguard measures.Tero Varjoranta, Deputy Director General (Safeguards)(DDG), called on Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chowdhury where the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) chairman was also present.

The spokesperson at the Foreign Office said in a statement that both sides shared an overview of safety and security of Pakistan’s nuclear programme with the visiting dignitary.“The foreign secretary mentioned that Pakistan attached the highest priority to the safety and security of its nuclear programme. The DDG praised Pakistan’s active and positive role at the IAEA,” she added.

Pakistan has been actively contributing to the Agency’s work as member of the IAEA Board of Governors on numerous occasions and is also among the leading recipients of IAEA’s technical assistance.

Earlier, during the visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan, the joint statement on the Pak-US Strategic Dialogue had pointed to the fact that “the United States welcomes Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to harmonise its strategic trade controls with those of the multilateral export control regimes. Furthermore, the Unites States has full confidence in nuclear security in Pakistan and appreciates Pakistan’s proactive engagement with the international community including through its hosting of IAEA training activities at its Nuclear Security Centre of Excellence and its active participation in the Nuclear Security Summits”.

Atleast know what you are talking about. That pick up truck you are referring to is called a MEL or Mobile Launcher.

I thought they were called TEL or Transporter Erector Launcher .

In India , they are called TCT or Transporter cum Tilter .

If your going to come on a defence forum and act smart in a cheap bid to score pot shots.

Atleast know what you are talking about. That pick up truck you are referring to is called a MEL or Mobile Launcher.

Every country has one including yours:

And those Missiles you see on parade are "inert" for display only genius.

No sir, he's right.
Sometime back it was reported that warheads 're transported without any protection in Pakistan.
This is the report...

Reports have emerged that nuclear warheads are often transported on normal roads with little to no protection.

That is utter, utter tripe. You don't know how carefully guarded Pakistanis strategic assets are... This is total nonsense, Pakistan is not in the business of cutting corners when it comes to strategic asset security.

MEL/TEL same thing, they are "mobile" / "transport".

nice to see this article
This article is unneeded. It's already an established fact that Pakistan has been improving it's nuclear safety record for a long while now. It's already ahead of India in this regard.

are they still carting nukes around in pickup trucks with minimal security cover in peak hour traffic ?
yea you are right genius

and we are transporting weapons grade Uranium in our pockets during lunch break.

BTW SPD used own air wing these black marked holes are from strategic plans division

thanks for taking time with posting the entire pictures by Shabab Mili who created a giant BAT and other replicas like missile in the past as well.

Pakistan has been a safe and secure user of Nuclear technology for half a century now. We don't need no one to tell us that. Haters are free to go and kill themselves.
